One of my favorite parts of facial rejuvenation is seeing patients recognize themselves again. This patient in her late 50s really didn't want to look much "different." She's a successful professional who was starting to lose her sense of self and felt like she no longer recognized the person she was seeing in the mirror.

She elected for a subtle but comprehensive approach that included a deep plane facelift, neck lift with deep sculpting, temporal brow reset, upper and lower blepharoplasty, upper lip lift, facial fat transfer, and CO2 laser resurfacing.

Wanting to feel more confident in your appearance doesn't make you a terrible person - it makes you human.

One of the most common things we hear is, "I feel guilty for even wanting this." But caring about how you look isn't something you necessarily need to apologize for.

For most people, cosmetic surgery isn't about becoming someone else or chasing "perfection." It's about feeling more like themselves and closing the gap between how they feel on the inside and what they see in the mirror.

What I notice especially is the more balanced position of her chin and jawline that we achieved thru deep neck sculpting, deep plane facelift, and a chin implant. Also super excited with the improvements in her marionette lines in the lower face. I love that she still looks like herself, just super refreshed.

And yes, I realize she is wearing a little makeup in the Afters. We take photos every visit, often without any intention of posting online. But these were too exciting not to share. If you can't see past the makeup, then feel free to keep scrolling! 😜 I'm thrilled for her regardless.
